IFB Industries Limited

Session on branding and Promotion

IFB Industries Limited is now one of the leading companies of India in the fields of domestic and industrial appliances in the segments of laundry, kitchen and living; fine blanking and ultra-miles bush chain components for automobiles.

IFB Industries Limited, which was originally known as Indian Fine Blanks Limited started their operations in the year 1974. At that time they were in collaboration with Hienrich Schmid AG of Switzerland. The product range they began with included straighteners, decoilers, strip loaders and other fine blanking products.

Neena Dayal created some training films for IFB Industries Limited at their Goa division. These films were used for the trainings of their engineers and service support staffers. These films were done in 2005 and 2006.

Neena accepted this assignment as an external consultant to an advertising agency. Such assignments were an extension to her advertising and branding repertoire.

She was leading an advertising agency which had a small and startup setup. She enriched her work with great future vision, utilizing the multifarious talents of her team very well, and expanding her own canvas with every assignment.

Assignments of training films like that of IFB Industries Limited, paved her future pathway towards a flourishing career in the Consulting, Training and Coaching industry, when she started her own brand, Success Synergy Enterprises (SSE) in 2008.

IFB Industries Limited has always been a company having a strong foothold in the products having fine engineering at the core of them. This was a very new field for Neena, as she did not have an engineering background and was not a Subject Matter Expert in this field. Yet, true to her inherent nature, she not just accepted the assignment, but also created fabulous content for the training films.

These films were highly appreciated and used in-house by the company, to enhance the productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of their engineering and service staffers.

This was indeed a challenging assignment for Neena. But she rose up to meet the challenge, and imbibed the tremendous growth she herself experienced in the entire process.

Neena always places premium value on this kind of growth, which she has always received through experiential learning through even the smallest of assignments she has done over the long period of nearly 24 years of her actively being a part of the industry.
